At Singapore’s – and Asia’s – FIRST ever Campus Party, Tech Storm is
proud to be their Media Partner for this inaugural event. We’ve brought you a
list of five super cool stuff to do this weekend at Campus Party!
At the Microverse, you can get to build your own drone from scratch and
fly it through a UV-lighted racecourse specially created for Campus Party
Singapore; you can also see how the “pilots” fly their drones through this
racecourse with a VR headset and joysticks. If you think it is simple, sign up
for the Drone Race where you can pit your drone piloting skills with fellow
There will also be the highly anticipated Swarm Drone Performance which
will take place here as well, so be sure to drop by!
This magnificent structure took over 4 hours to set up! From the
outside, it seems just like an ordinary igloo, but the magic happens once you
step in. You will be immersed in a full 360 degree theatre experience with
stunning visuals showcasing many shows such as
Samskara – a journey into
the mind created in partnership with digital artist Android Jones and
– where you can experience the adrenaline rush with Felix
Baumgartner on his October 2012 jump from a balloon at the edge of space to
Earth, almost 39,000 meters below.
This awesome place is the heaven for gamers – full of PCs filled with
your favourite games such as PUBG, Dota2, CSGO. In addition to a round-the-clock
LAN, there will be many mini-competitions happening here so make sure to catch
them to see the challengers battle it out!
To Infinity and Beyond
Join Gabe Gabrielle, NASA engineer and motivational speaker, as he
shares with you his life story – from how he got into NASA to his fascination
for shuttles takeoffs. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the slides:
It’s not everyday that you get to hear from a NASA engineer, so mark
your calendars for his talk and come on down!
Artificial Intelligence: A Close Look at Boob Cleavage
Last but not least, you cannot miss this fascinating showpiece whereby
Annabelle Kwok, 25 and founder of two AI startups, will be demonstrating how to
teach the computer to discern how “deep” your v-neck t-shirt or bikini should
be. She will also bring you through the entire process of developing a neural
network model – from data collection to implementation. You can definitely look
forward to a fun-filled session with her!
