This is like Christmas and New Year’s coming

the sexy but not so sleek Titan X. For those that do not know, Nvidia is a brand
leader in the graphic card industry producing high end graphic cards suitable
for gamers. Simply put, a graphic card is like the backbone of a gaming
computer that decides how to use pixels on your screen to create an image.

Dubbed the Ferrari of all graphic cards currently
available in the market, it is the most advanced Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)

It is not difficult to see why the Titan X
will stand out in a crowd, especially when it has these many traits to flaunt
about.

Being 10.5” in length, it is much larger
than its predecessor the GeForce 980. Titan X is an all-in-one graphic card
with its own built-in copper vapour chamber cooling system and constructed
using Nvidia’s new Maxwell architecture. Packed with 3072 CUDA cores, that is
an entire 50% increase from the GeForce 980. The Titan X also has a 12GB memory
GDDR5 frame buffer, high capacity VRMs that will give an additional 10%
headroom all of which will operate with almost complete silence.

 

All in
the Frames

Titan X is a gaming gladiator that will
give you twice the performance and power efficiency when compared to the
GeForce 980. Most high-end games need frames to be refreshed at a rate of 40 to
60 per second when put to the highest setting to ensure smooth play and minimal
latency. Here’s where Titan X will amaze any gamer – it is able to refresh up
to 90 frames per second. 

Even when popular games are put to their maximum settings at 4K resolution, you can still enjoy uninterrupted gameplay with Titan X.


Thanks to Titan X’s 12GB memory GDDR5 frame
buffer, it is able to run the latest DirectX 12 games and future games that are
expected to have increased visual complexity at the highest screen resolutions
without running out of graphic memory.

Level of Gaming

Demos produced by big names in Virtual
Reality (VR) and gaming such as Oculus, Epic Games, Weta, Valve and Crytek,
seem to have found the solution to their problems with Titan X. With so much
power, it is able to reduce latency during head rotation when used in VR gaming;
which spells less chances of motion sickness during use. This brings us one
step closer to making mass VR gaming a reality.

For those who prefer gaming on large
screens, you would be pleased to know that the Titan X’s display engine is
capable of supporting the highest resolution displays available; even up to 5K.

 

Made
To Be Stressed

Titan X was put to the stress test with the
game, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. All settings for the game were set to
maximum and the CPU was hooked up to a 4K 27” display. To be honest, it was one
thing to hear NVIDIA’s representative brag about how awesome the gameplay
experience is without latency, but it was another thing to see it right before
my very eyes.
