COD x Attack On Titan: The Crossover We Didn’t Expect (But PlayStation Is Giving Us)

Did you see this crossover coming?

Because I did not see this coming at all.

PlayStation is bringing the popular manga/anime series Attack on Titan to Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific, as part of the games’ first major update of the year.

A bundle made up of 10 Attack on Titan items will drop on 20 January, and it includes a Survey Corps skin for Operator Daniel Yatsu, inspired by Survey Corps Captain Levi Ackerman, one of the most important characters in the series.

Weapons include a Titan Piercer blade (modelled on the blade that can slay Titans in the series), as well as two firearms.

COD players can access the bundle via the PlayStation store for US$19.99.

The drop coincides with the impending end of Attack on Titan – the second part of its final season kicked off last weekend.

And Attack on Titan might not be the strangest franchise COD crossed over with – last November, data miners discovered in-game mentions and artwork that suggest Captain America and Indiana Jones might make their way into the latest Call of Duty games.
