Sony has unveiled a range of PlayStation 5 console covers – allowing gamers to replace the white face plates on their current PS5 console.
Five colours were announced on the PlayStation blog – Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Nova Pink, Starlight Blue and Galactic Purple.
Sony said installation is easy – just remove your original white PS5 console covers and click the new one into place.
Midnight Black and Cosmic Red will launch starting from January, with the rest of the colours released in the following months. They will be available for both the PS5 digital edition as well as the PS5 with disc drive.
The unveiling on Tuesday came after Sony tried to shut down at least one third-party PS5 console maker with legal threats in October.
Sony is also launching more colour releases for its DualSense wireless controllers – from next month, three more colours (Nova Pink, Galactic Purple and Starlight Blue) will be available for sale, adding to the previously released Cosmic Red and Midnight Black controllers.
